Name change, private dances are cheaper, but still not a good value

LIv’s has changed their name to Phat Katz and reduced the price of dances from $60 to $50, but it is still not a great experience. I get to Liberal once a year or so, and have visited this club before, under various names, and not much has improved over the years. It is OK for a stage show and that is about it. Other than being the only strip club around, there is no compelling reason to go. Cover is modest at $10 and beer and soft drinks are reasonable at $5, so you can enjoy the stage show for what that is worth with not much invested.

The club is fairly large and better lit than your average club. There is a bar just inside the front door that has canned and bottled drinks. The bartender was a slightly overweight, but in all the right places and blonde. When asked, she said she didn’t dance. There are a couple of pool tables, one of which was occupied by a couple of dancers and the other by a dancer and a customer. There are two stages, one fairly long and shallow and the other smaller. The smaller one wasn’t used when I was there. The stage dances didn’t start until 930PM, but were better than the last time I was here; Dancers danced three sets, taking their top off during the second set, and a few would climb off the stage and sit in your lap and grind. Two offered a Stevie, and several also allowed a bit of touching.

There were four other customers there when I walked in, including a couple. The women of the couple bought dances for both her and her man. There was another guy playing pool with a dancer and coping an occasional feel. When I was there, there were seven dancers, all brunette; four Latinas, an African American, a Native American, and a typical Midwest girl next door type. None were massively overweight. One of the hispanics, Trouble, approached me and she remembered me from an earlier visit. She did her best to sell me a private dance, but I declined as the price is too high, $50, and nothing beyond a basic grind was offered. It was a simple cost-benefit analysis decision. Two other dancers also approached, but I declined, particularly as when I asked about extras, they all commented that there were cameras in the dance area. So, unless you like expensive dances with little benefit, pass on the private dances.
