Utopía hoorah
Had a little time to kill, so I stopped in. First impression—pretty laid back spot. The beers aren’t overpriced either; you can grab some for around $4, which is always a plus. If you get there before 8, it looks like you can avoid a cover, so timing it right helps.
The dancers don’t really start hitting the stage until after 9. There are usually about six girls in rotation. Overall, I’d say most fall in that 6–7 range, but a couple stand out more once you actually talk to them. The place seems to struggle a bit with consistency—sounds like dancers come and go a lot—and it’s usually pretty quiet, even later into the night.
They’ve got two pool tables in the back, which gives it more of a hangout vibe than some places. After their sets, most of the girls come around the bar, chat, and try to connect—that’s really where things pick up more than on stage.
