Welcome to the Day Shift...

This has become a regular club for me, I'm a local in NYC. I've gotten to know a few of the dancers and they welcome me back each time. What I usually do is see a (Broadway) show and then come here after. For awhile it was once every week, then winter came and it just got too cold and snowy. Weather has improved and I made an outing, going to the TKTS booth in Times Square to find a show. I picked one that started at 7:30p which was a little later than what I expected. Even after dinner I had over an hour to kill. This time around I decided to visit here before rather than after - see if my girls were there. I usually only spend about an hour anyway so I could have an early night after the show.

$10 cover before 8p. FYI: $20 after 8p, $30 after 10p and I think there might not be a cover before 5p (place opens at Noon). I think I visited once before 5. Reception down a few steps as soon as you walk in, coat check behind you. $3 but I got to know the coat check girl so I'd always leave her $5. This evening she wasn't there though, the usual crew weren't around, it was one of the door guys handling both. I hadn't realized they would still be in Day Mode at 6pm.

Still got myself a drink from a friendly bar maid. It's a Dewars and Water on the rocks -$20 cash. Billed $25.00 on the CC (Incl Tax and 20% gratuity). I pay w/the CC cause I need the cash for dances. Yeah, I know, that's some money there but if you do pay by CC - know that the gratuity is already added, because there's still a blank line to add more (I don't know maybe a PL would want too).
