The Oasis was a dry mirage

I rolled into the Oasis around 8:30 hoping to see some friends from previous visits. You never know who will be there because they don't have a reliable call-in lineup check like Cheerleaders. $10 entry fee. There were 5 or 6 customers scattered around the bar. In the corner by the stairs to the dressing room was the typical assembly of staff, dancers, and street-clothed dancers. I sat down and was promptly greeted by the hot half-asian(?) bartender who served me up a beer. Unusually loud rap music was being played so I moved to a seat further away from the speakers.

It's not unusual to see an empty stage at Oasis but it usually only lasts one song, rarely two. I spent 15 minutes watching a nicely figured AA dancer working over a customer in the corner near the entrance and ogling the bartender because she was the best scenery in the house at the time. She noticed my constant staring and kept coming over to see if I needed anything. Finally a chubby AA dancer with small boobs got up on stage for 2 unwatchable songs.

Another long break. For a brief moment I thought I might get some company when the dancer in the corner finally gave up on the guy. But she got up and headed for the dressing room instead of my direction. 10 min. later she exited in street clothes. Finally another dancer got up on stage but she was not much different from the first.
