Party vibe, good (but not private) dances

My second stop in the Pompano area was Booby Trap, visiting on a Friday evening about 9:00pm. They had a large parking lot, with a $5 charge to be near the door and $2 for the rest of the lot.

The cover charge was $20. It's possible that was higher than normal due to the "customer appreciation" event they had going on. They had a buffet, which looked small an unappetizing. They also had some featured performers, including an aerialist and a fire eater/dancer.

The club was large and felt more hyped than Diamond Dolls. A large stage ran down the center of the room from one bar to another. There was elevated seating in booths on one side and tables on another. The ceiling was open to the upper floor where there was another bar and the lap dance areas. They had lasers and disco balls, and motorcycles on the ceiling. The stage was not set up well for watching from the bars, and the rest of the seating was reserved. It was hard to find a place to sit.
