Better dances and overall experience than last trip

I was in Fort Lauderdale for a long weekend and visited a trio of the Pompano area clubs. The first was Diamond Dolls. The club was easy to spot with a long line of tall, LED-covered palm trees. Parking in a well-lit lot was $5. Cover was $10 (at about 9:30pm on a Wednesday).

Inside the club felt smaller than it looked from the outside. The main room was a long narrow rectangle with a low stage running down the center. A bar with stools was on one side and some tables and chairs on the other. It was very busy, with few places left to sit and dozens of dancers. A fancy bottle of water at the bar was $8, as was a ginger ale.

The stage had three dancers on it, with the dancers starting on one end, moving to the middle, then to the other end. There were poles, but they were only used to hang onto. Only one of the dancers used it at all in their stage performance. The others did some low-key dancing and shaking. They provided a nice distraction and atmosphere, but weren't engaging enough to hold my attention.
