Worthwhile Monday Afternoon Visit

Won’t bother commenting much on the standard topics like parking, the bathroom, etc., that I and others have often covered. Instead will deal with the important topic, the dancers. I arrived at noon and left at 1:30, by which time there were well over 20 dancers, with only 5-6 of us PL’s in attendance. At 1:00 an announcement was made that all dancers had to report to the back room — maybe for attendance purposes or else a Walmart-style pep rally. Regardless, I’ve never witnessed this on previous visits.

After getting my $7 Modello I was chatted up by a few dancers and eventually got one or two $25 dances from some dancers who I’ve been with on previous visits (Barbie, Brittany, etc.) or a couple I had not experienced before (Carla and Alexa). Except for Brittany, English skills were limited. Fortunately, all had more than adequate VIP skills and would repeat with any of them in the future.

On a side note, it always amazes me how many wallflowers there are who just sit along the sidelines with their dancer friends rather than even occasionally chatting up the customers. I guess they’re just « putting in their time » so to speak.
