Random but Worth it
After a long Friday roaming the city and putting in a full day of sightseeing, I decided to stop into Crazy Horse around 10:30 PM to unwind. I honestly only planned to toss maybe $40-80 on stage, watch a few dances, and head back home. The cover was $25, and getting inside was quick and easy with no hassle from the door staff. There were about a dozen customers in the building, most of them gathered around the main stage. It felt active but not crowded, which made it easy to relax and take everything in.
The club definitely shows its age. The seating around the stage is worn and could use updating, but that is part of the old school charm. The lighting is kept fairly dark throughout the room, but not too dark, as you can still see the well-lit stage perfectly. The music was loud enough to keep the energy up without making conversation impossible. Since they do not serve liquor, I stuck with energy drinks and bottled water, which cost me about $20 over the course of the night. Security was calm, professional, and surprisingly friendly.
The dancer lineup was not massive like you would find in Miami or Atlanta, but for a smaller room it felt balanced. After sitting for a bit, the first dancer approached and suggested a lap dance and VIP. I chose the 15 minute VIP option because, hey why not? The 15-minute option runs $160-180 plus a $20 room fee, so $180-200 total. She was attractive and pleasant, but the session felt fairly standard and did not have much chemistry. It was fine, just not something that made me want to immediately book more time. I went back to the stage afterward and tipped several dancers during their sets, probably dropping around $250 throughout the night without really noticing it adding up.
