A Solid Good Time at famous "Mary's Club"

There is a long story behind this club; I think it is the oldest name from the old days in Portland. It has moved from it's original building because it was condemned. This building is downtown Portland with side of street parking and a paid parking lot just up the street. The section of the building that is the club is only about 30 feet wide and 60 feet deep of a main room. The bar and video lottery machines are right inside the door with the main stage just across from the bar. The stage is quite a bit off the floor so when you sit around it the dancers are quite a bit above you. This is kind of an old school bar with some dancers kind of vibe. Each dancer selects her own music and does usually 3 song sets each. Every dancer does get fully nude each set though. The fun thing in this club is it seems each dancer has a "theatric" kinda vibe with their routine. Not all of them - some are standard stripper clothing - but alot of dancers start with a costume type of "dress" and then "artistically" remove each piece until nude. I found myself actually enjoying it quite a bit.

The dances were $40 each or 3 for $100 which is kind of standard for Portland it seems. Not alot of extra touching etc. but the women are very beautiful and charismatic. The bar and bar staff are top notch for sure with normal bar prices for drinks etc. Also worth noting is the American style Mexican food available here. Burritos and Quesadillas, chips and dip, taco style salads etc are full on legit, and reasonably priced.

There are two stages but they told me mostly later on Fri and Sat nights is it busy enough to use. I actually liked this place and would visit again for sure. It is way downtown tho. When I went in there was no cover charge (around 4 pm) or security but later on I think they were charging $5 to get in and a single security guard checking on weapons etc. Restrooms were average clean and equipped. If you go tell "Jett" I said hi and her music selection was amazing.
