Decent Monday Happy Hour Experience
I’ve been to Rick’s a number of times at this point, typically on my own as I believe mongering is generally a solo sport. I tried it out during happy hour on Monday when I had about an hour to kill before meeting some people for dinner. I was surprised to see a decent sized crowd and at least 25 dancers given the day and time.
There is no cover until 8, but you do need to check your coat, bags, etc. There isn’t a cost for that, but you should tip a few bucks at the end. A well dressed bouncer will take you in and ask if you want a table, what kind of dancers you like, etc. I typically just head to the bar as I don’t like being stuck in one spot. Drinks are pretty heavily discounted at happy hour as well. I believe a bud light was $8.
I would classify Rick’s as a lap dance focused club with average mileage. Each dance is $20 for a 3-4 minute song and you can generally roam freely outside of chest and kitty.
