Good night at Paper Moon Springfield

I arrived at 7:50 pm, just in time to qualify for the pre-8:00 $5 cover. Parking is extensive, paved and free. Before entry, all PLs undergo a quick screening including an ID scan and a wanding after depositing all my metallic objects in a plastic bucket. I tongue-in-cheek asked if he was making sure I was old enough, which drew a laugh (I'm 74). After passing, I entered, paid my cover and continued into a nearly empty club. There was a briefly empty stage as 8:00 is the shift change.
