Decent place to visit during the day

After spending a week in Phoenix, I was overdue to visit a local establishment of which there are many. I wasn't going to make the same mistake I made the previous 2 years and visit Chica's Cabaret, so when I finished my round of golf, I was pleased to discover that Christies was a 5-minute drive away.

The club is right off the Interstate and easy to find and spot. Parking in the early afternoon was bountiful and free. Cover charge at that time was $7, but they took my driver's license and scanned it. I know many get upset about it, but I'm from out of town and visiting a strip club isn't illegal (at least not yet), so I consented. While I chatted with the pretty young lady behind the desk, several casually dressed dancers walked in and "checked in" with her. I noticed that each of them handed her $$$ up front, something I never witnessed before. It must be a regional practice, because I always believed that girls pay out at the end of the night, not before they start.

Walking in from the sun, it was dark(ish), but I found a seat at the bar. The bartendress was attractive and told me the bottled beers were 2/1, which came to $7 for 2 bottles of Coors Light, a bargain in my opinion. I tipped her and found a nearby table.
