Happy New Year

When holidays fall mid week, it seems pointless to go to work for a day or two. Swung in the door early Friday afternoon after New Year’s.

Nothing new to report about the club layout. You walk in and the manager is positioned almost immediately to your left. Just beyond this spot is the DJ. Over to the right is the bar. It seems like the bartender/waitress is pretty content to spend her time just standing there. Sometimes they expect you to go over there and order a drink even if you’re just getting a Coke.

Almost all the seating is now table and chairs. The dancers take up almost every bench. There are a few exceptions, including those right behind the stage, and one awkwardly placed bench right outside the ladies room.
