A nice night, despite the confusion of the club.

I had heard about Wandas from a dancer at another club and this was my first time visiting the place. For a first time visitor, the place can be confusing, starting with the entrance. There is a door on de Maisonneuve, walked in and up the stairs to the second floor. To my surprise I ended up in the middle of the club. No doorman, bouncer, or anything. I was a bit confused until I noticed what might be a doorman at the other end. Walked over to find out that, what I walked in from is not typically an entrance and the entrance is actually Mountain street. Got that cleared away. Didn't need a coat check, tipped the doorman and found myself a spot. The place was empty, but it actually took me a couple of minutes to figure that out.

As has been mentioned, the the lighting is rather low and there are a lot of dark mirrors on the walls. As you walk in the real entrance, you walk down an aisle with a few seating areas on your left and some on your right. There is a stage towards the middle on your right. To the further right (or behind that stage) is another area, slightly elevated with another stage. I picked a spot on my left, in front of the first stage. The dancers tend to hang out in a small area further down the aisle and next to the stage. Due to the mirrors, it is totally confusing as to whether you are seeing another area with more dancers, or the same area with the same dancers. I was confused by this a number of times, even after I had figured it out, and I had had no alcohol yet! That aside, as you walk in, there are stairs to the VIP dance level that is further up. More on that later. As I was sitting in an area in from of the stage and could see some dancers on the stage beyond that. Come to find out that the dancers don't go on stage until there enough people in the club. Since there were only about 3 us in the place, the stages were empty. The girls on the upper stage were just practicing their routines. I'm told that it's generally about 10:30-11:00 PM before there are enough guests that the girls start dancing on the stages.

All told between 9PM when I arrived and 11PM when I left, I saw about 10-15 different girls. In general, they were in 6-8 range. No drop dead gorgeous stunners, but none that you would say absolutely no to. I caught the attention of Lexie, thin blonde with very long hair. She was attractive, warm and friendly. We chatted for a short while and she explained to me how the club works and the layout. Decided to try her out and we went to the VIP upstairs for dance. There is a host that greets you at the top that pay/tip $10 and the areas is full of dance booths. There is also a bar up there, although I am not sure if you can just hang out there, or if it's just for when you are having a dance and want a drink. A group of 4 dance booths will have a shared entrance area and then entrances to a specific booth. It is kind of private and not private, since you are sitting right across from another booth. The curtain provides some privacy, but it is rather see through. Lexie explained the standard rules about where you can touch and where you cannot. She was about 5'7", enhanced D cups, thin, but had amazingly nice skin to the touch. I opted for 15 minutes for $100. There was a lot of lap work with a healthy dose of grinding. She allowed my hands to roam quite freely, except the areas she warned about. The experience was nice. I got my money's worth, but nothing outside the normal.
