Time at the Tenny

Found myself in the hills south of Pittsburgh on a Wednesday night and it’d been way more than a year since my last visit so I stopped in having seen some favorable reviews recently. Nothing inside had changed since I last arrived.

Parking lot is on the side of the building with a short sidewalk (facing the Main Street if discretion is an issue) into the front door. Hard left turn and an older gentlemen was on a chair inside the door. No security check or ID needed, just the $10 cover.

This building is basically an old house. Front room is where the bar is and it’s only bar seating in a large horseshoe. Stage is in the back part of the house down a single step. From most of the bar seats the stage is barely visible, but along the right side closest to the stage area had a few seats open and this is the best spot to post up. There are chars around the pit stage in the back part of the building. They provide for a great view and good interaction but being that it was a slow Wednesday, I didn’t want to find myself alone down there like last time.
