Keep expectations low

First off, I wanna say that I have been here probably 5 to 7 times in the past. I want you to know that my star rating in my review are based on the fact that I know what I’m getting myself into beforehand. If you came to this club for the first time and expected it to be an actual strip club, you would probably be sorely disappointed. Now here’s my unbiased review based on the fact that I knew what I was getting myself into.

Blue Sapphire in Ogden is really more of a bar with dancers than what most people would think of as a true strip club, even though they call it a gentleman’s club. It’s 21+ with alcohol. When you walk in, the bar is immediately to the right, the stage is straight ahead, and there are a couple pool tables and a few regular tables off to the left. It’s a small, simple setup. The stage is actually pretty big and takes up a lot of space. Behind the stage I think is where they do. The shower shows. The stage has one pole in the middle, but most of the strippers don’t use it for more than about 15 seconds at the beginning of their song.

On this Monday night there was no cover, which is typical on weekdays, though I have been in before when there was a small cover, maybe four or five bucks. They do check ID and I think they scan it.
