Nice building, easy parking, boring night
I stopped in on a recent Saturday night and I have to say I was kind of disappointed overall. In terms of the actual facilities, it's not a bad looking place. Big circular bar in the middle takes up most of the floorplan. Seating all around the outside with a floor level stage to the left and a VIP area to the right. On this night I stopped in for the first time to see what it was all about and pulled up a chair at the bar. The bartenders were great. Friendly, quick service, funny, engaging. Good mix of taking care of customers and conversating when they could. Beer was $4.25 for a bottle, which isn't bad. I had one dancer approach me within the first 30 seconds and I made polite conversation but told her I wanted a minute to get settled first. She stuck around and kept chatting for another 15 minutes. She was nice, but when I asked how pricing works here she told me it was "$25 for a barside dance, $50 for a VIP dance." That was so different than what I expected, I said, "Do you mean per song?" She confirmed, and I told her that was more than what I'd heard the prices were. She assured me she was worth it, but that seemed like a hustle to me. I politely declined, handed her a $10 for her time, and said she could come find me later but I really did just want to drink half my beer and warm up after coming in from the cold first. She left, and that was the last dancer I saw working the room at all for the next hour or so. A couple girls were hanging in the DJ booth looking at phones and giggling, a girl or two were on the hip of their regulars, and there was periodically a girl who would come out of the VIP with someone and then disappear, but there really weren't any "available" dancers to speak of from that moment forward. If I had to guess, maybe 5 girls were working. Cute girls, diversity of body types.
Someone told me they had hosted a big party the night before which might have explained why it was sleepy for a Saturday night. Maybe so, but I decided after a second beer that either the first girl called me out to her friends for being cheap or maybe there was literally nobody else working. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. I walked in with $500 and walked out with $480 after a couple beers and tips.
