Well, I still think this "renewed Follies" has a fighting chance of making it, but after giving it several tries, it will probably always be a low/mid tier club at best. The club is off Moreland Ave in a light industrial area, not terribly far from the Atlanta Pen. The road carries a ton of traffic, including many trucks, so be careful accessing and leaving the parking lot. There is a blind hill just to the North. The parking lot is small and partially paved on the front converting to a partial gravel lot in the back spots. Fortunately, it doesn't have giant pot holes and seems secure with a staff person keeping an eye on things. Parking is $5 for most of the lot, right up front is $10. (Shadow recently reported that someone tried to ask for $20???) Entry was $5 when I got there around 2:30. Quick, but pretty thorough pat down by the armed doorman/security guard.

Once inside, the club is very dark, particularly if you are coming in from a bright day. The inside is also pretty small with a single small stage to the right of the room with the DJ booth just beyond. The bar is straight ahead. The main area of the club has traditional 4-top tables with old school stuffed chairs and there is a smattering of high boy tables with taller stools along the walls. There are two couches on the main floor and also a raised seating area to the far left with seating and a "back couch area" that provides some additional privacy. The general consensus is that it costs $20 extra to sit up there though that wasn't the case on my first visit. My water was $5.

On this particular visit, there were more customers and dancers than I'd seen previously. There were approximately 14 customers and 8 dancers. The dancers were mostly black with 2 white and one who appeared Brazilian. Customer makeup was mostly black with one other white guy besides me. The DJ played a variety of music which wasn't too loud. The songs seemed normal length without the "mixing" of tracks I've heard from the other DJ that is there sometimes.
