I'm an Optimist

This place is like groundhog day, nothing ever changes. What i can I really say here that hasn't been said. Where the front door, bar, bathrooms, back rooms are??? Its a hole in the wall dive bar with strippers unchanged since the industrial revolution. I have been in here a bunch of times the last 15 years and once in the last 10 year saw a good looking blonde, she was a 9 I'd say. I have seen a few 7's they were all African American girls, which is a preference for me personally. But the odds when I look at all the visits, its like a 10% chance of a 7 or higher. I guess its like going to a garage sale looking for a tiffany table lamp for $7, lol. Every other time, including this visit last Monday there were no girls worth seeing on stage (not dancing, just sort of wiggling or standing around) or in the back room. I guess the best thing that happened was the negotiation I had with a strung out looking brunette who wanted $200 for full service in the back room. I got her down to $150 but honestly was never going to go back with her. For the uninitiated every girl here has a menu, and as the talent, surroundings and cover charge ($5) are all rock bottom, you can certainly push the prices for the menu down too. They seem to all want $200 plus but after talking for a few minutes, cutting what they want by 30% is pretty likely with minor effort. The negotiating is the best part of Bogies for me with the people watching a close second, and the cig smoking third.

Beers are still $10 including tip, I think they charge 8 but I get a corona and its 10 all in. The cover is $5 and there is a wristband charge to go in the back, $20 i think. Its been a minute since I went back there.

For this trip I had 2 beers and paid cover. About $30 paid in go away tips. After cutting negotiations I'd usually give the girl $5 for wasting a little of her time and thank her, wishing her a good night. I was there about 45 mins.
