On the expensive side but worth it...

I was in New York for a quick business trip and found myself with a couple of hours on a rainy Tuesday afternoon so I stopped in at Rick's which was convenient and as many know one of the few places open early afternoons in Manhattan. Having been here before, I knew that it was going to be expensive if I did anything beyond dances on the floor (which by the way are still $20) but I went in eyes wide ope on this front.

The place has been described many times before but after walking down a long hallway, you enter one big room with a stage to your left and the bar in the back right corner. Stage has a stairway in the back and no pole. Lap dances are done around the outside walls of the room with no privacy. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a soda ($6) because I needed to work later that afternoon. There were about 10 other customers and probably about 10-12 girls working. The quality was better than I had seen in the past with a few 8s and otherwise 5-7s. Within about 45 minutes, I had been approached by almost every girl in the place asking for a dance but I really hadn't seen anything that I was interested in (I prefer natural GND types who can speak relatively good english). There were quite a few attractive girls with strong accents (I think both South American and Russian) but I didn't bite for whatever reason.

I then saw one girl doing lap dances for someone else who caught my eye and I waited for them to finish before catching her eye. She came over and she was exactly what I was looking for and admittedly, I fell pretty quickly. We did one dance on the floor which after I said, let's do 30 minutes upstairs, she didn't charge me for. We preceded to the elevator in the front of the building and went to the third floor for the VIP rooms. The rooms are relatively small but adequate and have a drape curtain that is pulled shut. The cost for 30 minutes was $350 (I know I will hear that it isn't worth the price) including a tip to the overbearing hostess.
