Decent daytime visit!

Stopped on my way back to the GTA from upstate NY. Was planning on visiting a few of the Buffalo clubs, but some of our esteemed colleagues here didn't provide a very positive outlook, so I decided the Downer it would be.

I arrived in the late afternoon to a mostly empty (free) large parking lot. I think the Downer is a nice club and unlike some of the Toronto area clubs it is clean and comfortable. Nice tables, chairs and the bathrooms are clean. The do have tv's however there is usually nothing worth watching. There are a few pool tables and food is available (which I have been told is decent at a good price point). There is no cover until about 8.

I had a domestic beer, which was like $8 including tip (these prices also go up at night). I sat at one of the few seats at the bar, so I was served pretty quick. There were a few waitresses working the floor, although there were probably not more then twenty customers.
