Worst Experience at a Club
Decided to go on a Friday night after midnight. The club advertises open till 4 and haven’t been here since it was called the Den so decided to stop by. Friday nights are usually really busy for clubs or so I thought.
When I arrived, I noticed the club was covered behind a big black curtain, something I didn’t see before and knew something was wrong when I saw it, but I was thinking maybe it’s the remodeling. I should’ve left then. Paid the 20 cover and walk in. The stage has seats around it and has a lower section close to the stage and upper section on typical bar chairs. They have smoke machines and strobe lights, and it is really dimly lit. I like the vibe, the music is good you can tell that they put a lot into it, and it could definitely be a great time but No one was there.
When I mean no one, I was the one of 3 customers there. There was an older black lady working on her phone and no one else. Immediately felt ripped off for even paying a cover. After sitting there in silence wondering why it’s a ghost town, The manager gets one of the girls in the back to dance on stage after 10 minute of me sitting there. It is an older white girl, and I threw a couple dollars while she was dancing on stage, but definitely not my type.
