Tuesday at Ragtimes a no go

Tried this place after a year or so. It’s off a busy road in Woodland Park. You park around back and entrance is on the side of the building. If I remember correctly the building was painted pink. Looks like they have an apartment right on top of the place.

As for the bar as soon as you walk in you see a square shaped bar with poor lighting all around with a stage in the middle. This place is very outdated. Bathrooms are on the left side of the entrance behind a wall. Male and female bathrooms. I took a piss as soon as I walked in and the bathroom was dirty and had water sitting in a clogged sink.

I took a bar stool by the jukebox machine and ordered a ML from the bartender which ran around $5. The beer was cold. This night they had 3 dancers that’s really looked like they were pushing 50. All Brazilian but not what I was looking for that night. I would rate them 4s in all honesty from a 1-10. They all did try to push for me to buy them drinks which I assume they get a cut from that. They offered $20 LD which I declined. They held up good conversations but like i stated early not my type of vibe.

All in all it’s hard to see how this place stays open. It’s got that dive bar type of vibe but it’s not for me. Well at least on this day. Will circle back around another day. A few years back I met a solid older woman named Susan. She was my type. I haven’t seen her since.
