Open Bar, Cold Couch

Cheerleaders offers a perk to their patrons of a two hour open bar party in the month of their birthdays for themselves and 9 friends. Wednesday night was the October party. I was lucky enough to be a guest of a friend and enjoyed many beverages at no cost but the tip to the bartender. A good time was had by all.

As many of you know, Cheerleaders is located in South Philadelphia just yards away from the I-95 exit ramps near Oregon Ave. The club is large and has good parking. You enter the club past the hostess and then bouncer and metal detector. Inside the club opens up to 1 main stage in the center of the room and 4 dancer pole stations within the large bar. Usually only two of the poles are occupied until things pick up later in the evening and the dancers on shift increases.

On this particular evening I did a very good job of consuming alcohol so my memories are somewhat hazy. I remember many attractive young women stopping by for a cursory $1 tip as they came off the stage and then would move on. Only a small number seemed interested in engaging in any conversation or to promote themselves for a lap dance.
