Thursday In The Evening
Off the 10. Across from the street from Arizona Mills. Parking lot is open and when I went they had security outside (I hope) keeping an eye on the lot. Paid $10 cover and was allowed entrance. Luckily, no bouncers felt the need to escort me to a table. There were plenty open and I found one. Paid $5 for a bottle of H2O and took in the scenery. The club is large, with faux-ornate decorations on the walls covered with cheap Halloween décor. Tall ceilings and ample space between tables. Considering the square footage it could be used more efficiently and for better entertainment purposes. But with the stage being as badly lit as it was, the dancers are most silhouettes on stage. You need to go to the counter round the pole to get a good look. Trying for an air of mystery? It's mainly just annoying.
Lots of dancers for a weeknight. Decent shape. All acceptable sizes with a handful of stunners. But most ran 6-7 and they were unanimously police in their approach and rejection. No pressure. No complaining. No uncomfortable attempts to guilt a dance or two out of the customer.
But, considering the prices, that should be expected. $20 for a dance on the floor with hands to your side. The first dancer, a healthy blonde from the Midwest (can't remember her name, sorry) sat and we spoke about the chill of the northern states and how much we don't miss it this time of year. A pleasant conversation shifted to a sales pitch when she offered to entertain me. I asked if her top would be removed on the floor? No. $20 for 3 minutes and you're not showing me your... What about the VIP? She only goes back for $100 for three and there she would let the twins out. Also, the dances would be, "more private." I asked what she meant by that and was reassured they would be, "more private."
