Visited: Thursday Evening

I'm a few weeks late with this report, so my visit happened before the tragic shooting of the GM of Condor Club. I didn't see him during my visit, but the rest of the staff were fantastic, so I respect him for running a good establishment.

I was in town for a convention, so I decided to stop by the Condor on Thursday night. As I approached the door, an older gentleman (I think he might have been the floor manager?) greeted me, and as soon as he heard I was a convention-goer, he ushered me inside like I was a high roller or something. He didn't bother with any ID check or cover charge, so I don't know how much it usually costs. He just took me inside, gave me the lay of the land, and found me a table I liked. So right off the bat, I had a good feeling about this place.

The main room is a long rectangle, with the entrance on one of the short sides of the rectangle. To the left is a very wide main stage, along one of the long sides, so it makes for a rather shallow space where no seats are terribly far from the stage, giving you a good view from pretty much anywhere. There are several short round tables with short leather chairs scattered around the room, with some wide, stretched out booths lining the outer edge of the room. There weren't any chairs stageside, but the closest tables are so close you could throw a tip on stage if you have good aim. There is a lot of stage tipping, to the point there was a staff member coming out regularly to help the girls sweep up their dollars. No customers were making it rain, exactly, but there were a couple of light showers. No staffers mentioned any kind of drink minimum, so I didn't order any drinks while I was there.
