Average club with okay dance specials
Short summary – Average club where you might be able to get value from their dance specials but seems set up more for regulars/locals who already know the dancers and probably is not worth a drive out from downtown LA.
I was in LA for work recently and decided to head out to the COI clubs since I got done with dinner early and had the night off. Even around 8PM, it took nearly an hour to get from the Santa Monica area to COI. So if you’re thinking of hitting up this club, you either need to be in COI already or you really have to want to go to this club and have a car to drive there from LA.
The club is located in a random strip mall with a couple of liquor and vape stores next door. The parking lot is well lit and decently trafficked so you probably aren’t in any major danger in the area. The club doesn’t look like really anything from the outside and has the same non-descript exterior as all of the other stores in the strip mall. Once you get inside though it has a similar interior as every other Spearmint Rhino (think dark wood interiors and plush chairs). Cover was $22 if I remember correctly. There’s a main stage area with a couple of more secluded/private rooms off this main room and then another separate area where they give individual dances. One thing I dislike in general which was true for this club is that it was super dark inside aside from the main stage area. It’s really hard to see anything including the girls even if they’re right next to you which makes judging their looks almost impossible unless they’re dancing on stage. Also, the seating setup is kind of weird with all of the plush chairs arranged in rows facing the stage rather than around tables so you sometimes have to climb over the other customers already sitting to find an empty seat if the chairs on the ends aren’t open.
