Club under new name now

Went here recently - based on other reviews it seemed like the only place in Manhattan that offers an “intermediate” dance option that isn’t $20 per dance on the floor or alternatively close to $1k for a private room.

Also seems that the name of the club changed recently. Madame rouge or something like that? Awning is red vs black, etc.

Anyway I asked the door guy and he said it’s same place inside, just a new name. I go in and it’s $20 cover (if I recall correctly) no ID scan. He says drink is required so I go up to bar and get a beer… $12 or so. Small bar area, only a few patrons and a few girls. Girl I’m sitting next 2 gets called on stage and then 2 latinas lock onto me from across the bar and make a beeline over… oh dear. Not my type and they are super aggressive and don’t take no for an answer. One of them has aggressive red lipstick and plants a smooch… I don’t realize until later I have a mark on my cheek. Annoying, I hate that.
