Goodbye Treasure, Hello Mirage

Today I first tried my usual spot, the Treasure Club, but it was terrible. I had to wait 5 minutes for the bartender to show up, then I sat and watched an empty stage for 20 minutes with no one dancing or interacting with me. Finally one girl came by but she wasn't even close to my type so I politely dismissed her and left shortly after.

I decided to try the nearby Mirage for the first time in many years. Also dead, as I was the only PL there, but the direct opposite of Treasure.

The friendly bartender called me over and chatted while she got my drink and 1 of the 3 girls sitting at the bar said Hi and chatted me up a bit too. Good start! The club is bright and, well, a bit tacky with the animal print chairs and such, but I'm not expecting grand elegance so it's all good.

I plopped down and was studying my phone, trying to figure out if this place was worth it as they weren't running the stage either. But after a minute Katie came over from the bar and asked if she could join me. She was very clean-cut looking and I was glad to have the company. That's another difference between the 2 clubs. TC I think has more of the typical tattooed and pierced dancers while the 3 I saw at Mirage were more girl-next-door type. Katie was easy to talk to and I had a good time chatting with her.

She asked if I wanted a dance and I asked about the rules and prices. She rattled off a long list of options, all the way up to a hot tub room I think, but I opted for the 10 minutes for $100 dance. Standard rules: hands-off the kitty and no kissing, very reasonable.
