Smoke Gets In Your Eyes…

Bourbon Street has been my favorite club for a long time. I visit Hi Liter, and Curves in Tucson, but if I’m in Phoenix I almost always find a reason to stop in. The girls are hot, and I have many favorites on both day and night shift. Mileage is limited, but YMMV with regulars that get to know you. As for club details, there is a large well-lit parking lot, and I’ve never felt unsafe there. At night, there are usually a couple of burly security guys hanging around outside keeping an eye on things, and handling the small valet zone. I’ve been to Bourbon on Friday nights when there was a line waiting to get in, but on this night at about 9pm that was not an issue. The cover was $10, and you are handed a meaningless receipt which you give to a bouncer 5 feet away. Restrooms are directly to the left, no attendant, always clean. There are three stages, although the third stage doesn’t get activated until later in the evening. There are few tables marked reserved in front of the main stage, which you have to pay extra for, but otherwise you can sit wherever you want without being seated by a bouncer (take note HL…).

When I walked in this Friday evening, the smoke in the club was so thick I thought there might be a fire, although I didn’t smell smoke. They have a smoke machine around the upper part of the main stage, and had apparently blasted it right before I came in. I started coughing immediately, and asked the door guy WTF with the smoke! He says they’ve had the smoke machine for some time, but I had never seen it before. I’ve been to lots of concerts with artificial smoke, and in clubs with similar equipment, and this was worse than any I remembered. From the back wall, the front stage, which is maybe 20 feet away was hazy. Clearly the club is not equipped with smoke detectors or they would have all been going off. It also hung heavy, not being quickly flushed by the HVAC system. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the door guy, and later to one of the house moms, they said they would pass it on. They don’t need the smoke effects, and for some patrons it is probably unhealthy.

OK, enough bitching about the smoke, there were plenty of hotties working Friday night. Harley found me first. She’s a cute older brunette non-enhanced dancer, with lots of life and club experience. I usually get a few dances from her because she is a great source of club and dancer intel. Next up was Ashley, one of the resident Cubans. She’s currently blonde with shoulder length hair. Her small boob enhancements are a bit misshapen, but her skin is heavenly and she’s very friendly with me in VIP. After chilling for a bit Lydia came on stage, wearing one of those stunning string thongs that seem like almost nothing. Reviews from this club often mention Nikki and Madison as being very low mileage dancers. I have to say that Lydia is only a few notches better, but to me she is just fucking gorgeous, and I find her Ukrainian accent very sexy. So of course I did some time in VIP with her and enjoyed the limited mileage she was willing to give me. It was now late enough that Roxie came in, and walked right up to me. Roxie is a hot, curvy brunette that just exudes sexiness. She’s been a fave for some time, and I love the flirty banter we have. I did a half dozen songs with her in VIP, pushing her envelope just enough to make her laugh but not piss her off. Finally one of the other Cubans Susanna chased me down and I agreed to some dances. The main VIP area was full and bustling, so we went into the side area across from the main stage and had it to ourselves. Susanna is also very flirty, and lets me push her limits every time I see her. When I came out, another Cuban favorite Tiffany was on stage. I tipped her to ask her over, but she was kind enough to let me know she had already committed to another customer first. I decided to wait, but after a half dozen songs I gave up and took off.
