Some things have changed, some have not...
It's been a while since I've visited and this was my first time since they started the remodel (which is not quite finished just yet). The location of the club is quite convenient, only a few blocks off of I-95, but slightly awkward, in a quite anonymous strip mall. From the outside, it doesn't even look like a strip club, it almost looks like an abandoned bar, especially now with all the dumpsters and containers for the ongoing construction.
Once inside, the "reception desk" still looks like the old one, with a barrier placed in the way of the main bar and pole dancing area. Being afternoon, there's no cover fee, but I was asked to take everything out of my pockets, got scanned with a metal detector and a full Pat down as well. I don't particularly mind, but still... The bouncer is super friendly at least.
Made it past the "check-in", the new bar looks nice and bright, with the main dance area behind it. With this new setup the place looks much bigger than before, almost empty. There's clearly still construction happening, with a couple of ladders and boards hanging around. Everything seems clean enough though, the music is not excessively loud and the light isn't bad, The bartender is also friendly enough when I ask for a beer ($7.50 for a Heineken...) , albeit definitely not dancer material in any sort of recent past at least.
