I stop by the Gold Club almost every week. It is easy to find in a busy commercial area. Has plenty of free parking. You enter to an area where they scan your id and collect a cover at night, but no cover during the day. You pass the men’s room on your way into the main club area.

The club itself is 2 floors, the main floor and the second floor which is mostly for dances. There are also 2 raised areas on the main floor. Both are for private dances. The bar is in the back which seems to be the center of activity. Drinks are moderately priced. My cocktail costs $11 or $12.

During the day the club is relaxed, usually less than 10 customers and less than 10 dancers. There are always a few Cubans and usually 1 or 2
