A new twist at HK, at least for me.

It's remarkably difficult to review this place given that it gets so much action and traction. If you just relate your trip then you are criticized and suggest that it should go in the discussions. Maybe we need a 3rd category that is just for trip reports? So I tried to not mention review a club unless I have at least some new tidbit to add to the global knowledge.

Anyway this trip I and a few new experiences that I'll relate in case it helps anybody or even just informs.

First immediately after crossing the border and walking that first couple hundred yards I found the Zona limo waiting in the lot. He had just backed in to his parking stall so I expected to have to wait 10 or 15 minutes, as has happened before, but this time as soon as I got in the car he took off. It was very unusual in that the car is probably a 20 or 24 seat limo that stretches half a city block. Getting out of the driveway he had reverse and backup twice just to be able to make the corner onto the roadway. I would call it a three point turn except he had to do it more than once so I guess it's a 6 point turn? I tipped $5 given I would have paid a taxi at least and he was very quick to leave. One tip I've learned is that if you walk past the line of taxis and back towards the line that heads into the USA you will very easily find a taxi there who's just dropped someone off who's willing to take you to HK for 5 bucks.
