Very Limited Activity Early on a Saturday Afternoon
I was driving through the northeast part of the East Coast to go see an old high school friend on a Saturday afternoon, and my route took me relatively close to two clubs I wanted to check out: Mickey’s Gentlemen’s Lounge and Boardroom Cabaret. The only problem was that I was kind of stuck visiting about an hour after each of them opened, so the pickings were slim. Keep my unfortunate timing in mind when you read this review.
I had visited Mickey’s once, in 2016, the first-and-only time I had been in the Providence area. I had a good enough time back then (good, medium-mileage lap dances, including some DFK that I will *never* forget) that I wanted to see what’s up in 2025.
Those who have described the building as an old VFW hall are onto something. Inside there’s a very large rectangular bar (that the girls dance on), a few tables with chairs, maybe a couple of pool tables, a row of lap dance cubicles with thin, black, gauzy curtains that really hide nothing, and – I think – maybe some kind of VIP set-up downstairs, which I didn’t see.
