I grabbed an Uber from El Poblado to Fase Dos for about 20,000 COP (roughly $5 USD). After wandering Parque Lleras for an hour and spending another hour and a half in Club Gusto, I decided I wanted something more… reliable. The pros.

Entry was 50,000 COP (about $12 USD). After a quick pat-down at the door, I stepped inside. Within minutes, one of the girls—definitely not my type—latched onto me. She started twerking against me, and the more she noticed my reaction, the harder she worked at it. In a U.S. club, this would’ve been a problem—because I wouldn’t want to tip someone I wasn’t really into. But in Colombia, tipping is much lighter on the wallet. I probably spent the equivalent of $5 on her before excusing myself for a beer.

I then tried to grab a seat near the stage, but security stopped me, explaining in Spanish that there’s a minimum spend requirement to sit there. That part is disappointing if you’re solo and not looking to drop $100+ USD on bottle service just to sit. With friends, you could split it, but solo? Not worth it. The entire stage is surrounded by these paid seats, so if you can’t snag one of the roughly 10 bar stools, you’ll be standing a good 25 feet away from the action.
