Swing and a Miss

I’m a semi regular of this place. When I lived in the area, I used to frequent it. Now, I stop in whenever I’m in town (three times a year)

I showed up Friday night around midnight. I paid the $5 cover and got buzzed in. Everyone knows the general layout of the place, so I’ll refrain from putting that in this review. The bar/stage is right there and I looked and saw three people sitting there. I found that odd being it’s a Friday night.

I looked for my usual spot upstairs. However, that area was packed (not that it’s a huge area). I took a seat and the waitress greeted me within a minute. I started my tab and tipped her generously in the beginning. My advice, tip the wait staff upfront. They’re working hard too. Please don’t be that guy at the end of the night who’s broke, and doesn’t tip the person keeping your drinks coming.
