Rosewood used to be one of those rare clubs where you could sit down with a dancer and actually have a real conversation. Back then, most of the girls were young American women—students, locals—who brought personality and warmth to the experience. You could hang out, talk, laugh a bit, and the dances felt like a natural extension of that connection.
That vibe is long gone. These days, it’s mostly Eastern European dancers, and the shift in energy is noticeable. They’re attractive, professional and transactional. The charm has been replaced with hustle, and the whole experience feels more like a high-end sales pitch than a night out.
The club itself still looks great—modern, elegant, more like a lounge than a lap dance club. Dances happen behind curtains, so the main floor is all couches and a bar. Lap dances are officially timed at three minutes, and overcharging seems to be the norm, not the exception. Drinks are overpriced (as expected), and the bathrooms are surprisingly awful for a place that otherwise looks upscale.
Rosewood still has the polish, but it lost the soul. If you’re after connection, conversation, or anything more than a quick upsell, you’ll probably leave disappointed.
