Thursday before workday- probably not my new go to

So I already opined in a previous review that Flashdancers higher up has great variety but Sapphire 39 has them beat on my recent visit. Given, dances were dubiously expensive at 40$ for one and 100$ for three, with every dancer asking for a tip. Beer was reasonable for NYC price- 11$. Cover was 20$. Crowded with girls and got the intel that given the 60th st location being closed down recently (google it), there are a lot more girls working here. Even being spoiled for choice, not sure paying double for dances compared to clubs down the street is worth it. Music is fun, dances were mixed, but girls overall very friendly. Probably won't visit again unless my bonus is bigger than expected. Truly breaks the mold a bit though on manhattan stripper type- had latina, white, black on the floor- tall/short/curvy/skinny/tatted up and not. Didn't ask on VIP given was just scoping it out and was already spending more than I would have liked to on dances. On layout, there a bit more nooks and cranies of big couches and tables so it does feel a bit more private than the rather open layout of other NY clubs.
