Could it get any worse? YES!

After a long hiatus (6+ years) I made a pilgrimage to Jr's hoping to "relax" and have some good old fashioned freaky fun. Anyone who's been here knows what the possibilities are for one to have a "blast." (Pun intended). One of the less than handful all-nude stripclubs in the city is still up and running and probably for the foreseeable future. (They got 9 lives).

For those living under a rock in Iowa over the past 25 years JR's is located in an industrial area of the Bronx. Lots of auto mechanic shops, etc. There's a small parking lot directly in front of the entrance that could potentially fit 10 vehicles. Although I've never seen that many at once. In years past I had been to this spot in the early afternoon, early evening, late at night, and in the wee hours of the morning. If security or safety is a primary concern of yours the early afternoons seem to be the least dramatic, perception-wise. Although, in terms of activity inside of the club, AFTER 7:30pm is when the club traditionally showed 'signs of life.' Or at least moreso than the 12pm-7pm shift. That is not to say the early afternoons-early evenings were a total waste. Had some fun times there with some of the dancers who worked those early shifts and was bummed to learn are no longer active there. Well you can always be an ogler I guess. But you can't stay an exotic dancer forever. Can you?

The last time I was at Jr's (pre-pandemic) the admission was increased to $10 (up from $5) with a $12 mandatory drink minimum added (equaling $22). Non-alcoholic drinks (the ONLY kind they serve) were in the $5-$7 range. So upon my return in 2025 I was surprised to see that the door security was ONLY charging me $10 flat. No drink minimum was included. Hmm, I thought. Business must be improving?
