Hopefull but a bit disappointed

Went on a Thursday afternoon, was in the area and decided to give it another try since the last visit was a bust.

Enter thru a metal detector and main bar to your left, DJ booth sharp right and stage directly in front of you with another bar to the far right. The bathrooms are in between both bars on the right as well against the wall. There is outdoor patio for smoking and freshair. I ordered a beer ($8) from bartender Patty who has been there forever and is one of the nicest people and remembers all patrons and their drinks a very good talent.

Anyway not many dancers and the 2-3 I saw were either at the bar or on the high tops across from the bathrooms. All on their phones and no dancer in the main stage. I understand that's not where they make their money but the last few times I have been here it appears dead and no activity on this stage. I was approached by a 35+ Latin dancer, more thick than I like. She asked if I wanted a dance but "better fun" in VIP. I passed and drank my drink. A couple of other dancers were Gigi, Diamond and Calissi (?)

but other than that no one i saw unless they were in the VIP. I had a LD with Calissi, skinny, couldn't tell if latin or AA but not bad however she was distracted as she was waiting for one of her regulars coming in. Dance was $40 and $5 goes to the club. Good grind but no real connection, was hoping for more and maybe it was because her mind was elsewhere. I could see potential but not today. I had 2 beers and was there for about 2 hours hoping it would get better. Had two more dances and called it a day. I was hopeful and maybe the night shifts are better. Next stop will be CL or CD.
