To say I drive from Boston to Providence doesn’t mean much- as I don’t think anyone here needs an education on the lack of strip clubs /presence of crazy rules in Boston. Haha.
However, I think it means something that of the many places to choose from in Providence, Desire delivers the best experience for me! Foxy is the only other one worth the trip!
Once you get the ramps at 95/195/Point St, etc down, it’s easy to get to. Ample , safe parking. Never had a problem at the door, and I am not regular enough for those guys to remember me.
Once inside, the club is clean, has a classy vibe without being intimidating , and bartenders are quick to serve you, even when busy. Wide variety of dancers, and while I haven’t lined up anyone I really like well enough to get to a private dance , I’ve found pretty much all of them to be approachable and not overly aggressive .
If they spend more than a few minutes after it’s clear I’m not looking for a lap dance, etc, all have taken well to a $10 for their time and “no thank you, but don’t let me keep you from making $$!”
No doubt hustlers and scammers exist, it’s a strip club! But you’re the consumer and it takes two! Keep your wits about you and know what your limit is going in!
