The rooms are too damn high!

I had been going here for years, but started cutting back a couple years ago when one of my favorite dancers moved on. This was my first time back since they "remodeled" the place. I use quotes because they didn't really do all that much. Re-tiled the bathroom (which was sorely needed). They put in a new countertop on the bar which btw now makes the old bar stools too low. The side stage used to lead directly to the girls dressing room but now they've walled that off and put tables in front. They also cleaned up a couple of the private rooms downstairs. Overall, not a particularly extensive remodel.

Apparently, though, it was enough to justify jacking up the cost of the private rooms. Last time I was there single dances were $51 a pop and they would regularly do a 4 for 3 special. That got you a private booth with the curtain closed and, depending on the girl, you could have a pretty good time. When I went this time around, it was pretty empty overall. Found myself of nice girl who promised the world. Decided to take her back for some dances. First off, single dances are now $57. 3 dances are $153. The 4 for 3 was not to be had, at least not for me. The booths are now completely open. The curtains have been removed so no more privacy in there. As a result, I was told by the dancer that she wasn't allowed to be "naughty" in that area.

For more fun, I had to pay for one of the private rooms. Those work in increments starting at 15 mins, 20, 30 and an hour. She quoted me $416 for 15 mins. I nearly choked on my drink when she said that. I didn't even bother asking what the other times cost. Last time I was there the Sky Rooms were $250 for 15 mins. Inflation, I get it but come on. Guess they gotta pay for those renovations somehow. Anyway, the dance I got was decent but she was upselling hard. I guess when the pricing step-up is that much there's a ton of incentive to get the guy into a private room.
