Getting almost consistent

Stoped by Gallagher's on a Wednesday pretty recently. This place almost feels like it never changes, except the dances have gotten noticeably better and more consistent, and while it's still a bit hit or miss, the odds of finding a good dancer feel like they have gotten better too. I haven't been going that long but the change is obvious.

I showed up on a Wednesday just after it had gotten dark. Paid a $10 cover and then took a seat at the bar. It's a tip parade. Two dancers on the stage in the middle of the rectangular bar and every couple songs they hop down and collect tips. Compared to some other places that do this, this doesn't really cost that much. I got a beer. That was $10 too.

It was a slower night. There were maybe only like five other guys, which is pretty typical here but also can put the vibe off. On a bad night it feels depressing. This night it was ok but not amazing. Anyway about as soon as I sat I had dancers coming up to me. I would prefer to hang out for a while and get a sense of who's there first but that wasn't an option. I turned the first two dancers down as politely as possible. The second, a fairly sexy Latina, I would have taken for a dance but just wasn't looking to go right away. Then, just about right away, another dancer had finished her time on the stage and basically pinned herself to me. She was dark-skinned, very sexy, some tattoos, Latin. I thought I was on my way out but she convinced me to get a dance and wow. I've never had a more freewheeling dance and it's not like dances here aren't usually pretty good. $100 plus tip.
