Reign Saturday 2025-04-26 evening

I've lived in Pinellas county about 15 minutes from Reign for quite a while and never been there so I figured I would check it out. Typically I make the drive over to Tampa, but why not check out the local scene. So I drove on a Saturday night a couple of weeks ago and got there are 10:30. Lots of parking, decent lighting, I didn't feel at all unsafe in the parking lot. The door fee was a surprisingly cheap $13, basically half the cost of Mons or 2001 on any given night and they did serve liquor. Although I only got a bottle of water for 5 or 6 bucks, which I will not do next time because the bottled water is "Reign" water, so they basically are putting tap water into their custom bottles.

All the people working the club were very nice, I would say there were more than 50 dancers on this particular night and probably the biggest variety of sizes and shapes I've seen on the area. The Latina girls held a majority, but there were a decent amount of white chics and a couple of AA's as well. Almost all of the girls were 7's or 8's and there were one or two that hit the 9 range. I didn't really see any that were ugly girls. I was approached for dances by a couple girls, Lilly, who was young and sweet, but skinny as a rail, and Lieah(like the princess from star wars), who was a blonde Cuban, who was quite pretty and very well put together. I passed on both, just so I could get settled in for a little bit and check out the club.

Now here is where it gets weird, I think almost every patron in the club on this particular night was a couple of some sort. There were young couples and older couples, and threesomes of two dudes and one chic, all sorts of couples. And bizarrely enough I had the sad misfortune of two couples of two bull dykes, sit down right next to me. Yes thats right there was quartet of lesbo's right next to me. But the important thing about this is that there were not the smoking hot lesbos that grace the pages of your favorite gentlemans magazine, these were the crew cut sporting, 50 inch waist line, dirty jean wearing, truck drive'n lesbos of your worst nightmare. Even money says any of those chics could change the tire on my Tacoma faster than me. And on top of that they were really loud and boisterous. I'm quite sure it was the very first time they done this sort of thing because they were dropping dollar bills all over the floor, yelling and screaming, and just being a bit on the obnoxious side. So that is just an unusual little side story to the whole night.

Back to the club, Reign is the sister club to Oz just a few miles away and it is clearly bigger, in fact it's down right spacey and quite comfy all in all. None of the girls who approached me were the least bit pushy, which is a blessing, I really hate pushy dancers. The music was the standard annoying contemporary rap garbage that no one wants to hear. The d.j. was not obnoxious and called out the girls as they came up. There was a main stage which had two girls and a smaller stage on the side which had one girl, who then rotated over to the main stage. In the hour or so that I was there they offered at least two or three of the for 2 for 50 dance specials. One thing I did not care for was the lighting which this club shares with it's sister club Oz. There are enough flashing, whirly, blinking, multicolored lights in that place to send any ones brain into seizures. So much so that I found the lights to be a big downer.

Overall though I would say the club was a thumbs up, I think the quality and variety and non pushyness of the girls being the big selling point here. Although I did not get any dances I will definitely go back again in a few weeks maybe on a Friday night and get a dance or two.
