West Side Wednesday Blues
After a successful first and second visit here, I stopped by Wednesday evening (about 8 PM) to see what the club would be like on a weekday evening, and hopefully meet up with some of the dancers I'd seen on previous visits I didn't get a chance to lap with.
Pulled up, the parking lot in front was full, so drove around the back and found a spot. Walked in, and this time without the manager just waving me in, I paid a $10 cover (received change from my $20 in all singles), got an ID check and a pat down. NBD, but definitely a different vibe from the laid back daytime visit.
Like before, the bar area seems to be the focal point for this club, with PLs and dancers seemingly engrossed in debates about the Trump tariffs or the new idiot GM of the Phoenix Suns. The rest of the dancers (about 25 or so, all either Latina or AA), were apparently hyp-mo-tized by their cell phones, as nary one ever looked from their respective screens to scan the crowd for likely lap partners. I still don't know what drink costs are as I have never been approached by a waitress to buy one. One very thick Latina came by as soon as I sat down, with the classic "One dahnce bay-bee?" and I politely told her no, then did so again 7 minutes later when she asked again. I did see a cute, petite, slightly thick blonde Latina w/B cups headed in my direction, and I agreed to a dance with her. First song, her top did not come off, but she provided a good grind and then, during the second song the top came off and there was more light 2-way contact and grinding. Decent laps for $10 each, and while she did try to upsell to the $30/dance VIP room, she wasn't annoying about it.
