Has picked up

The first couple of times I visited here after their opening, in the afternoons, the place was dead. I gave up on this place until I started noticing the parking lot getting filled in recent times. So decided to give it a shot again.

I went on a Thursday after 6pm , around 7 and Wednesday 4:00 pm in the last couple of weeks. Thursday I paid $10 cover as it was after 6pm. No cover prior to 6pm. IDs were checked on both occasions.

Happy hour is every weekday (Mon-Fri) 4-6pm when dances are $10 . Wednesday is all day $10 dances. Other times individual dances are $20 and there is a separate VIP area with 3 for $50. I was told you have to buy sets of 3 at a time.

Thursdays says $2 taco days. The club is newer and has decent interiors and lot of seating around the stage and at the bar. I had a beer, I think was $6.

Coming to the dancers, majority if not all, were Cuban. Most speak passable English but prefer Spanish.Mostly 6 to 7s. The dance area is a rectangular room with continuous seating around the wall. The seats are a bit narrow and not as comfortable as in gold room where they have deep individual sofas. Its better if you sit in one of the corners, you get more room.
