Thursday 2025-04-24, 2001 Oddyssey.

I hadn't been to 2001 for many years, since long before the remodel, so I decided to stop over on a random Thursday night. I arrived at 10:45 and found a parking space in the back lot which was guarded by a security guard which is a nice feature. Parking was free at least on the night I went there. The front door guy with the metal detector was the most thorough I've come across so far, probably a TSA guy from the airport moonlighting for a couple extra bucks. There was at least 25 or more girls and almost as many patron. really as far as customers this was a pretty thin crowd.

The mix was mostly white chics of all sizes and shapes, maybe one or two latino and a couple of AA's. There was a variety of girls on this evening all of whom were pretty cute. I did't see any ugly chics at all. I was approached by 5 or 6 ladies for dances and none were too pushy. I talked with Lola, who was tall and skinny but looked very young, too young for me anyway. Another, I think her name was Skylar who was a true beauty with large naturals. And I think Andrea, who was maybe a little long in the tooth for this gig.

There was also a dancer named Barbie, or maybe Bambi who I tipped on stage that got my attention, she was 5' 6" or so, short straight black hair, kind of bigger butt and nipples that reminded me of a baby bottle. I was hoping to get a dance or two from her, but I missed her coming out. Next time.

Also there also was a girl there named Lisa who I did get three dances from. Lisa is a stunning blond, and I do mean stunning. She has model good looks and is on their web site in a photo shoot. Beautiful face and fantastic body, easily a 9 or 9.5, possibly even a 10 in my book. Lisa was latin with a very slight accent, I think she said Cuban, but her English was superb, no communications problems at all, she said she had been in the U.S. for 10 years now. Also, this Lisa girl is slick, she could sell ice cubes to Eskimos, and a very easy conversationalist. she asked me if I wanted a dance, her price was 45, but she do would 3 for 120. Simply because she was so smoking hot and easy to talk to I said sure we'll try one and that turned into three. And with that we proceeded onto the launch pad. The guy collecting the 6 dollars at the launch pad was a monster, I'm 6'2" and 265, and that guy was at least 6'5" and 300. Any way I payed the 6 dollar fee and we made our way to a small closet sized room at the back. Lisa also did lay out a kerchief on my lap, first time for that, I guess things get messy some times. All I can say is that those were three really good lap dances, very handsy. Prices have gone up in Tampa, prices have gone up every where and on every thing, so once we account for the inflation I would still say those were three very good lap dances, given the strictures of the cameras being in place. Lisa did push pretty heavily for the space ship because there is no camera, and I would have liked to try, but 500 for 30 minutes is just too steep, at that price I can't imagine they get much traffic in there. Every place else in Tampa the prices are $300 for 30 minutes.

A few other generic notes about the club, it was clean and well lit, all the people were very nice. I got a bottle of water for like 6 bucks and put a buck in the tip jar. The music was thankfully not too loud, and the light show was not too much. OZ and Reign have so much lights going on that it's really annoying, theres enough flashing, strobing lights in both of those place to send your brain into seizures.
