If ya want a good club in NYC, go outside the City

If you're in NYC you could go to a museum or play, but if you're a monger......

This place is a short subway ride from midtown, maybe 5 or 6 stops? ( most crammed subway car I've ever been on), and then a 5 minute walk 1/2 block off the main street. Don't know if I would do that trip after dark. Probably a reasonable cab ride.

It looks like it used to be much grander...and there is a portion of the club that looks unused.

Much different vibe from a Manhattan club, this is more of a hood club.

People were cool and friendly, very mixed ethnic and demographic crowd.
