A Late Winter/Early Spring Visit

On my return trip after about six months, I came on both a Saturday night and a Sunday night in March. I’ve still not come during the day, so can’t comment on that. For Saturday night, it was a little more crowded, but on Sunday night there were more girls than guys. And on Sunday I’d just come from winning a little at a casino, so it was almost like a freebie.

On my last trip during the summer before, I’d found Vanessa at Bourbon. When I returned, she was not to be found, so I asked the waitress about her. It turned out that she was there but was being kept busy by someone who had paid for multiple dances in advance. So eventually she came out to say hello and, I’m not naïve but I think she was sincere in remembering me. In fact, she remembered why I’d come to Phoenix the last time, so I guess that’s a good sign.

On both nights, there were about 15 girls at any one time. Vanessa, a French Canadian, is tall and thin and one of the best dancers I’ve encountered. Now contact at Bourbon is limited, so don’t expect too much. But within those limits, Vanessa is just right. One of the things I like about her is that she’s willing to spend some time just talking, and she’s a great conversationalist.
