Dive bar vibe, low expectations

Came at 5:30 PM on a Saturday. I have driven by this place for a while, and have even stopped by twice just after 5 PM. Both of those occasions the doors were locked and they were closed, although it says they open at 5. Dancer told me they just started opening at 5 recently, changed from 6 PM. She also told me that The Library was recently shut down (news to me) so they don’t have much competition now. Sunset Strip is in the area- I’ll have to review there another time. SS is much nicer inside, a few more dancers, although not as private feeling. I enjoy a grungy, dive-bar feel with no eyes on you, so Pleasures wasn’t bad for that purpose.

Parking is free right in front, although it’s right on the side of TC jester with no covering/privacy and no security. Cover was $10, or $20 with two drink tickets included. I opted for the 20. The place is pretty dark and run-down feeling. One big stage on the right with no one dancing. A few slot machines littered around and possibly a pool table, can’t remember.

There was a middle aged woman and an older man working. The man was behind the bar and served up my bud light (I’m a simple man). I suppose with the drink vouchers you could get whatever u like- they both were very eager to please me as I was the ONLY customer inside. There were also zero dancers inside. I asked the woman and she hurried back to find one. Dancer came out. Thick black girl, very attractive. She was incredibly easy to talk to, not stuck up, not selling, just chilling drinking.
